I redesigned the website for New England based General Contracting Firm, R Zoppo Corp. The website design is inspired by their company slogan ‘building the future with today’s resources and yesterday’s values’. The goal was to show how R. Zoppo Corp has evolved since its 1918 founding without loosing their longstanding core traditions and values. The modern aesthetic and scrolling techniques combined with content detailing their philosophy, values, and portfolio really captures and communicates the very essence of what it means to be an adaptable and cutting edge four-generation company in 2014.
I was asked by Playland Motel, a hip motel located in Far Rockaway Beach, to design their new identity and website. The logo is inspired by 1950’s motel signs and old signage from Coney Island. I combined this with an 8-bit graphic inspired website design and added interactive elements to keep the brand fun and fresh. These elements communicate the very essence of what it means to be a trendy motel in an era where ‘cool’ motels are few and far between.
I redesigned the identity and website for world-renowned architect and educator, Alison Mears. Alison Mears is a multi-faceted commercial, residential and industrial architect, educator and mentor. The goal was to have a digital space where she could showcase her completed architectural portfolio and at the same time update her constantly evolving education projects in Africa and China. The overall design concept has an industrial and modern aesthetic working to incorporate all of these principles.
I redesigned the currency of Australia for a print design class I took while at Parsons. I played with the idea of incorporating various animals from around the country on the fronts and prominent and influential architecture on the backs in order to fully envelop and visually describe Australian culture.
I redesigned a limited edition The Face, a British music, fashion, and culture monthly magazine started in 1980. My version stayed true to both the brand and content featuring local artists around New York City and Brooklyn and paid homage to the magazine's creative director, Neville Brody.
I designed a booklet for The World as 100 People seminar in New York City. The booklet can be folded out to turn into a poster and the data provided is from the original study done in 1981.
I was asked by Miami based Digital Agency, Vanillashakemedia, to design the creative development and user interaction for a website they had created for the Odebrecht Award for Sustainable Development Competition. The concept behind the design and user interaction was ‘innovation starts with a single idea’. This phrase is designed to describe the ideation and collaboration created and nurtured during the competition. The website interaction and design is built around this principle.
